I started doing my own vehicle detailing when I bought my first car. When I bought it, it was 8 years old, had 91,000 miles on it, smelled musty, and leaked when it rained. Some of the interior I "fixed" with duct tape. My mom called this car "character building." I've learned a lot about vehicle detailing since then (some of it through trial and error), and I've become much more skilled and precise at it. My current car was new when I bought it. It's now 5 years old, but I want to keep it looking like new. I made Knight In Shining Carmor to help people do their own vehicle detailing, hopefully cheaper than a professional company and easier than me trying out multiple things to see what works. Happy detailing!
